11 October 2009 is National Coming Out Day and the day for the 2009 National Equality March on Washington, DC.
People will be coming to Washington and also organizing locally in support of full and equal treatment under the law for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people.
Here we see three Unitarian Universalists ministers talk about some of the forms of inequality that they have faced.

The Standing on the Side of Love campaign was launched at the Unitarian Universalist Association's 2009 General Assembly.
Rev. Peter Morales, the newly elected President of the Unitarian Universalist Association, speaks about what standing on the side of love means to him. He invites all to join him on the side of love.
Rev. William Sinkford (President of the Unitarian Universalist Association) recently returned from a pilgrimage to Africa and offers his thoughts on our reasons for concern as well as hope in this season of renewal.
