July 2008 Volunteer of the Month
The July 2008 Volunteer of the Month is Susan Bettinger.
For July, the All Souls Council selected one of the church's hardest working members for Volunteer of the Month - Susan Bettinger.
Every Tuesday Susan works in the office, answering the phone, watering the plants, mopping and shop vacuuming up any flood waters that may intrude, and attending to any other tasks that spring up.
She is also the facilitator for the Hiking Covenant Group, and she's active in Northern and Central Louisiana Interfaith, helping bring churches together across the area.
Her good deeds extend far into All Souls' past: Susan has taught a class in stress management for women, served on the Board, been a frequent lay reader, and helped in too many other ways to recount.
