All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church

Susan Bettinger is the May 2007 Volunteer of the Month.

Susan serves on the All Souls Board as the Volunteer Coordinator.  Every Tuesday, she works in the Church Office.  And on Wednesdays, she helps Susan set up the church for the Wednesday Night Adult Religious Education Classes.  Susan recently taught a class on stress management for women.

Susan also arranged for Elena Bogaczova to come to All Souls on 20 May 2007 for a piano recital.

We are honored to have Susan using the reserved parking space for the Volunteer of the Month in May 2007.

All Souls presents a concert with Barbara Jarrell and special guests Alicia Gaby and Sandra Odom this Friday (13 April 2007) at 7:00 PM.

Come join us for an intimate evening in a relaxed and informal setting with this amazing singer-songwriter and friends.

Light snacks will be provided and drinks available by donation.  Child care is available with advanced notice (Call Susan Caldwell at 318-868-3313).

Admission is $10.00 for adults, $3.00 for children and youth with a $25.00 family maximum.

Over the years, Bob has sung (and continues to sing) in the church choir.  As a musician, he has facilitated the Vocal and Instrumental Covenant Group and recently performed at All Souls with Jim Huckabay for a very successful fundraiser.

As a professional psychologist, Bob has facilitated Alternatives to Violence workshop for All Souls and the wider community.  He also facilitated suicide prevention workshops for All Souls youth.  He also volunteered as a shelter counselor after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

At All Souls, Bob has taught High School Religious Education, served on the Board, and chaired the Worship Team.

We thank Bob for his contributions of time and talent to the All Souls community as he uses the Volunteer of the Month parking spot in April 2007.
