We're Testing a New Web Calendar at All Souls

To improve the quality of services offered by our web site, we are testing the Google Calendar for use on our web site at All Souls.

Using the Google Calendar offers many advantages for our members, friends, and guests:

  • Easy integration of church event info with other personal information managers that use the "iCalendar" open data standard for calendar data exchange (e.g. Microsoft Outlook 2003 and later, Apple's iCal, Mozilla Calendar Project, Lotus Notes, etc).
  • Integration with existing personal Google Calendars for members, friends, and guests who have already signed up for this free web service.
  • In addition to the iCal format, the calendar also viewable using XML and HTML data formats:
    • Click here for the All Souls Calendar in HTML format (usable with any current web browser).
    • Click here for the All Souls Calendar in iCal format (usable with iCal on the Mac and downloadable to your iPod).
    • Click here for the All Souls Calendar in XML format (usable with RSS aggregators).

August 2006 Volunteer of the Month

The parking space reserved for our honored Volunteer of the Month goes to Franklin Adams.

Franklin is one of our new members who has jumped right into sustaining the congregation with his labors of love.

In addition to working with the Building and Grounds cleanup teams, Franklin has agreed to assist us with his botanical knowledge in choosing plants for the fence line on the south parking lot border.

His work with the Building and Grounds Team and other ventures at All Souls has earned Franklin the title of Volunteer of the Month.
